The Client:
OpTier, headquartered in New York, empowers businesses with their patented technology which creates a single record from every customer interaction without the need for application modifications. They bring the data to life with a new, real-time analytics solution and an award-winning Application Performance Management (APM) solution.
The Objective:
OpTier was relocating from their Times Square office to a new working space on the 65th floor of the Empire State Building. They appointed us to conceptualize, design, and furnish a beautiful and functional facility for their business, including private offices, reception, conference rooms, shared space and an open plan using systems furniture.
The Process:
After visiting their current space in Times Square, we took inventory of the few furniture items that OpTier planned to keep and relocate to their new office space. From there, we explored their new furniture needs and gained a better understanding of the design aesthetic and functionality that they were aiming for with this transition. I collected field measurements of the new space to generate a base plan and begin space planning exercises for the new layout. To do this, I gathered inspiration to help visualize spacial themes. Concept creation came in the form of multiple layout options as well as a furniture package and drawing set, including: Base plan, Furniture plan, Electrical plan, Elevations, and isometrics. With final selections made, specifications & POs were processed and Installation completed in their new office with unparalleled southern views of New York City.
